Evan Peters will sit out ‘American Horror Story’ season 9 after appearing in every other season of the long running anthology series…
‘American Horror Story’ season 9 will debut later this year but Evan Peters won’t be part of the cast.
After appearing in every other version of the long running anthology series on FX from season one’s ‘Murder House’ to the most recent ‘Apocalypse’, Peters has been one of only a few cast members to at least make an appearance in every season.
Now Peters is sitting out season 9, although he didn’t get into much detail as to why he’s not coming back.
“No, I’m going to sit a season out,” Peters said at WonderCon this past weekend.

There’s still not much known about the latest version of ‘American Horror Story’ other than Peter’s ex-fiancee Emma Roberts is expected to serve as one of the leads on the series. Creator Ryan Murphy hasn’t said much about who will or won’t be returning for season 9 or the plot that he’s cooking up for the latest installment.
While Peters is bowing out of ‘American Horror Story’, he will still be hitting the big screen soon enough as he reprises his role as Quicksilver in the upcoming ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’ due out on June 7.
