1) Ben Affleck

Just when you think A-list celebrities can get away with anything! Besides being one of the best actors in the world, praised for his performance in Batman and Hollywoodland, Ben Affleck is also an avid card player.
Turns out, Affleck has powerful memory skills and remembers all eliminated cards from the game, which secures him an easy win. The staff in Hard Rock Casino noticed it and banned him from playing cards in their venue. However, they did allow him to play other games and even made a limousine available for him.
2) Charlie Sheen
Drugs, sex, and alcohol are usually the first things we think about when somebody mentions Charlie Sheen. But gambling is another one of his vices.
The public found out about his gambling problems in 2006 when Sheen’s wife Denise Richards revealed he spent around $200,000 on gambling every week. He even went so far and made a bet over the phone while rushing to the hospital for the birth of their daughter.
3) Matt Damon
Where Ben Affleck goes, Matt Damon follows. Damon’s gambling addiction started when he accepted a leading role in Rounders, one of the most legendary movies about poker ever made. Apparently, Damon wanted to get into a role and gain personal experience and ended up losing $25,000 at a poker game. This is how his gambling career started, and it has been rumored he was involved in an illegal gambling ring.
4) Michael Jordan
Most iconic NBA player Michael Jordan wont admit he has a gambling problem. However, his affection for betting dates back to his high school years. According to Roland Lazenby’s book, Michael Jordan: The Life, we find out he wrote a letter to his prom date, saying he was happy she paid off the bet he’d won against her.
There are stories about Michael Jordan that said he’d bet with anyone ready for the occasion, but as well, that this was the reason he quit professional basketball.
Despite his claims that he didn’t have a gambling problem, but rather a “competition problem,” he came out clean when he admitted he had lost a total of $165,00 in Atlantic City back in 1993. Since then, he’s known as a regular poker player and a keen high roller.
5) Ray Romano
Many enjoyed watching the performance of Ray Romano in the famous sitcom, Everybody Loves Raymond, but little did we know that he was struggling with a gambling addiction. What’s more, he was battling an addiction while the show was still running. However, even though he tried to combat it a few times, he is still a part of Poker’s World Series.
