The first trailer for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” has arrived as a new kind of hero arrives in the Marvel Cinematic Universe…
The first trailer for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” has finally arrived ahead of the movie’s release on Sept. 3.
The film stars Simu Liu as Shang-Chi — a master martial artist who was raised to be an assassin by his father only to leave that world behind in an attempt to lead a somewhat normal life. Unfortunately, he’s pulled back into his father’s world by way of the mysterious Ten Rings organization.
The film also stars Tony Leung as Wenwu, Awkwafina as Shang-Chi’s friend Katy, and Michelle Yeoh as Jiang Nan, as well as Fala Chen, Meng’er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng.
Wenwu is Shang-Chi’s father, who pulls him back into the criminal organization he’s built and ruled over for many years, and he also goes by a different name that many Marvel fans will recognize — The Mandarin.
Of course, The Mandarin was name dropped and appeared in “Iron Man 3” back in 2013 but that ended up being an actor posing in the role but there really was a criminal mastermind operating under that name and now we will finally meet him.
Check out the new trailer for “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” and get ready for the film to land in theaters on Sept. 3.
