Johnny Lawrence and Daniel LaRusso will battle it out once again in the new Karate Kid spinoff series titled Cobra Kai with the first full length trailer dropping on Wednesday along with the premiere date for the series.

Cobra Kai will launch on May 2 via YouTube Red with 10 episodes of the series for the first season.

Cobra Kai picks up 34 years after the events in The Karate Kid except this time around Johnny is a down on his luck loser while Daniel has become a success by owning his own car dealership. When Johnny decides to open up his own Cobra Kai dojo in town, it puts him at odds with Daniel, who thought he had seen the last of that gym when he was still a teenager.

Part action, part comedy, and part nostalgia, Cobra Kai definitely seems like a fun series as The Karate Kid saga continues. Check out the trailer above.
