In The Flash recap, Barry and the team go after Zoom, and it goes worse than anyone could have guessed.

Barry talks to Dr. Light about Zoom. He asks for help, but she is too scared. So the team, mostly Cisco, come up with an idea to have Linda Park, earth one Linda, act as Dr. Light to lure Zoom to their world. Dr. Light helps by using the light to disappear, and get away, by leaving her clothes behind.
Cisco “fixes” the hand held light shooters and they put Linda through a practice run. It does not go well, she pretty much takes out everyone except her target. After a few more tries, she starts to get the hang of it, and after one final successful run, Linda throws a high five towards Barry but instead almost takes out Cisco and the team with a rouge light shot.
Patty is worried that Papa Joe is leaving her out of things, so she questions him, multiple times, but gets nothing. Finally she comes out and asks if he is hiding something about Dr. Light. He asks her to put it on a back burner for a few days and it kind of eases her.
Barry and Patty, who have fantastic chemistry on screen, try to take a step forward in their relationship, but Barry’s “plan” gets in the way.
After the, so called plan, goes awry the team heads back to STAR labs to think of something new. Zoom has other plans and he takes Linda to the roof of STAR labs, and Barry barely saves her. He then tries to, lightning shot, Zoom, but he catches it, yeah I said catches it, and throws it back at Barry. He then proceeds to beat the hell out of Barry and then hits him up with two of their, slow down darts, and he then drags Barry’s lifeless body to the news office, the station, and back to STAR labs telling them all that their faith in the Flash is misplaced.
Barry kind of heals, at least enough to wake up, but quickly realizes he has no feeling in his legs. What will Central City do with no protector, and what will Barry do with no legs?
