When the story of television in 2013 is written, Sleepy Hollow will go down as one of the freshman hits but also a pleasant surprise in this current landscape of the small screen. Ratings have been solid, but the reaction to the show from critics has turned Sleepy Hollow into nothing less than the darling of websites and newspapers across the country.
The show was picked up for a second season almost as quickly as they made it to air, and now the series will receive a bonus, super sized season finale in just a few short weeks.
On January 20, Sleepy Hollow takes over FOX with a special two-hour season finale bringing the show to a conclusion for it’s debut offering. The show’s two hour finale pre-empts the premiere of The Following, which now gets its debut for the season on January 27.
