Telltale games, the company behind the recent Walking Dead games, are currently in development with HBO to produce a Game of Thrones video game that will be released in 2014.
There’s very little detail available about the new game, but given the popularity of Game of Thrones on HBO as well as the rest of the George R.R. Martin universe of books, it’s pretty likely this is going to be a popular title.
Telltale will work with HBO on the development of the game for story line as well as determining which actors and actresses may lend their voices to the game direct from the TV show.
Expect more announcements to come about the Game of Thrones video game in the coming months as Game of Thrones gets ready to return to HBO for season four in spring 2014.
