When the Crowe family descended upon Harlan County this season of ‘Justified‘, it was only a matter of time before they ran into the good and the bad in town landing on the radars of both Raylan Givens and Boyd Crowder.
Last week we finally saw Darryl go face to face with Boyd in a conversation about money he believes the Harlan crime lord owes after selling Audrey’s to his cousin Dewey.
Actor Michael Rapaport, who plays Darryl Crowe Jr., knows that his chances of surviving season 5 of ‘Justified’ are probably pretty slim, but he’s hoping to make it a hell of a ride until he says goodbye.
“I want him to go as far as he can go, but I feel like his days are numbered cause he’s such a shit starter,” Rapaport said. “I want to go to the top, we’ll see how far I’ll get.”
On the upcoming episode airing Tuesday night, Darryl helps deal with the fallout of his brother Danny’s homicidal impulse after he blew a shotgun hole right through their alligator trapper friend Jean Baptiste. It’s going to be awfully hard for Darryl to get a business up and going while cleaning up the mess from the rest of his family.
