‘Sons of Anarchy’ creator Kurt Sutter won’t be going to any other network in the near future after inking a new deal with FOX this week….
On the cusp of the seventh and final season of ‘Sons of Anarchy’, creator Kurt Sutter has just signed a new three year deal to remain with 20th Century FOX, which also means FX will get first rights to any material the creator/writer produces over that period of time.
Sutter is currently hard at work on ‘Sons of Anarchy’ ahead of the September 9 debut on FX, but he also has his next project already in mind. Sutter will write and produce his newest series ‘The Bastard Executioner’ with hopes of debuting the show in 2015.
The show will shoot in England with Sutter picking up production on that series in 2015 following ‘Sons of Anarchy’ coming to an end later this year. There are also tentative plans in place to produce a ‘Sons of Anarchy’ prequel either as a
series or as a mini-series a couple of years after the show ends.
