A few months back, Robbie Amell was announced to play Ronnie Raymond on the new series “The Flash” on the CW. As comic book fans known well, Ronnie Raymond is one half of the blazing superhero known as Firestorm.
Raymond becomes Firestorm after he is fused to nuclear physicist Dr. Martin Stein in an experiment gone wrong. Now “The Flash” has found his other half as “Alias” star Victor Garber has joined the show to play Stein.
The description of Stein from a CW press release:
Dr. Martin Stein, a brilliant but arrogant nuclear physicist who has scarified everything, including a marriage, for his work in transmutation. After he discovers the particle accelerator has fused him with the younger, more impulsive Ronnie Raymond (Robbie Amell), he races to find a way to separate the two before it’s too late
There’s no word when Garber will debut but season one of “The Flash” just debuted this week so keep an eye out for both Ronnie Raymond and Dr. Martin Stein to pop up later this year.
