Arrow season 2 comes to the midway point with the fall finale titled ‘Three Ghosts’….

My name is Oliver Queen…well its not really, but how cool is that part. Anyway, here we go with the mid – season finale: Three Ghosts.
Just a quick refreshers from last week, if we remember correctly, Oli was fighting with Cyrus Gold, or Super as I like to call him, things didn’t end well and Oli was unconscious and darn near death, with two unknown substances in his leg.
Cut to this week, Oli is just about flat lined and the only thing Barry can think of, is to thin out his blood with rat poison…wait what?! Well it works, and Oli wakes to thank…ha, no he proceeds to yell at Felicity for letting Barry know who he was.
Oli gets a call from home, and as he enters Theas room, he sees Roy laying on the bed with an arrow in his leg, how did that get there? Oliver takes it out and calls Dig to come play nurse to help Roy. As Oli leaves Theas room, he sees a hallucination of Shado, and she tells him to stop fighting before everyone he loves dies…
Flashback: Doc Ivo and his goons break in, take the serum, Oli, Sara, and Shado hostage. Ivo forces Oli to make a decision to save either Sara or Shado. Ivo says if Oli doesn’t decide he will kill them both.
Barry gets all fan boy, while taking blood from Oli to find out why he is having these hallucinations. Felicity pulls finger prints and finds out that Cyrus Gold is the “super” and Oli and Dig go to find him.
Dig takes a look into the apartment and Gold throws him around, Dig busts out the window, and him and Oli barely get away. Oli calls Felicity to call in some help. Arrow meets Detective Dad, Quentin to help, he tells him to call in the troops to stop Gold. Oli sees another hallucination, this time it’s Slade.
Flash back: Ivo again threatens Oli to pick, and starts a countdown. As Ivo gets down to one, Oli jumps in front of Sara, and Ivo shoots Shado.
Laurel looks into the Thea, Roy, and Sinn problem, and basically tells them, there is nothing.
Barry is working on something and Felicity walks in. They chat it up a little about Oli, of course. Basically Barry is jealous that Felicity “kind of” likes Oli, and not him.
Detective Dad, works his captain, to get some guys together to stop Gold. Daily asks to join in with Quentin and Captain. They enter the building and it doesn’t take long for Gold to tear through 4 or 5 cops. He then roughs up Dad, and then turns to the Captain, and makes him shoot himself.
Oli has another hallucination with Slade. Slade begins to yell at Oli, and tries to kill him, and destroying the “lair“. Just as Oli thinks it’s the end, Slade is gone.
Blood and Laurel are out “shopping” and she gets a call saying her dad is in the ICU. She leaves Sebastian and goes to the hospital to see her father. After Quentin seems to be ok, Laurel leaves the room and sees Blood. He says he is there to make sure everyone is ok. While she is in the hall, Arrow talks with Quinton, and tries to take the blame for the deaths. Quentin gives Arrow a key he took off of Gold.
In walks Felicity and Barry, they inform Oli that his blood is clean, so the hallucinations are mental not physical.
Oli is back at the “lair” and confides with Dig about the hallucinations. Dig informs him, that he must make amends with whatever it is bothering him to make it go away. Felicity finds where the key is from, and Oli saddles up to go after Gold.
Roy breaks into an office to find some more on Max, and has to hide as someone comes in gassing the place down. Roy makes a break for it, but is well basically close lined by super. Blood ties Roy up, and as he comes to Brother Blood informs Roy he is going to “join” the brotherhood, and he injects Roy with the serum. Roy dies…..Arrow busts in and takes out the doc, and fights with Cyrus, he buries an arrow deep into the super. Gold get an edge on Oli and as Oli decides to quit, a third hallucination comes to him. This time its Tommy, and Tommy says that he forgives Oli, and tells him to fight, “fight Oliver, get up and fight..back”. This seems to really “energize: Oli, he beats Gold around a bit, then possibly, kills him by causing an explosion. He then goes to Roy, and brings him back to life.
Roy awakes to Thea and Sinn rushing into the room, but Roy tells a slight lie.
Blood walks into an office, and talks with…wait that voice, holy crapola, it’s Slade. He is alive and is controlling Blood. He says Blood is to stay away from the Arrow. Slade doesn’t want him dead yet, “Death will be a release from this life. I’m going to tear everything he cares about away from him, destroy those who choose to follow him, corrupt those he loves. Once he has lost everyone and everything he values, I will drive an arrow through his eye.” umm I think Slade is pissed.
Flashback: Slade somehow comes to life, and runs to where Oliver, Sara, and Shado are. He kills everyone, except Ivo (he ran away), and vows to “get” whoever killed Shado.
Barry gets home and calls Felicity, basically asking her out, in a geeky kind of way, and as he hangs up the Particle Accelerator explodes, and sends a shockwave through Barry’s office. He gets thrown into his chemicals, and begins to glow as the show fades away.
Now the good/bad news. We have to wait until January 15th for the return of Arrow.
