In the Arrow recap for the fall finale, Damien Dahrk continues to wreak havoc over Star City while Oliver tries to figure out how to fight back…

Future possible Oliver is at the bay cleaning up. A drone shows up shooting at everyone. No one is dead, but a few are injured. Back at the Arrow Cave they listen to the news. Oliver is doing his best, it’s my fault people are hurt, and then he asks Dig to try to talk to Andy again.
Dig tries his damndest to get through to Andy. He is obviously still hurt by Andy’s decisions. Dig digs a bit more, after ripping into him, but Andy doesn’t give him anything.
A relieved Momma Smoak is worried as Felicity gets home. Momma finds Oliver’s ring, well Felicity’s ring that Oliver hasn’t offered her yet. Ahem, engagement ring.
Oliver finally gives the statement that Star city needs. He goes hard and gives all of what they know of Darhk and the HIVE. Damian is not happy, so much so he mentally breaks the tv. Not good to piss off the mystical man. This is going to get ugly later on.
Oliver seems happy that he shook the beehive…see what I did there? Thea and Dig head out to get some more security for Oli’s Holiday party. He leans down, but not on a knee and asks if he did the right thing.
As everyone preps for the party, Malcolm gives Thea a visit. Thea gives him a thumbs up on how she feels. He explains that he is worried that Thea wasn’t affected by Darhk.
The party starts out great, and everyone seems to be having a great time. Curtis brings in Paul, his husband, and introduces him to everyone. Felicity is, of course, acting weird. As she looks for Momma Smoak, she introduces Captain Lance as her boyfriend and creeps out everyone. She explains that they, her and mom, found the ring and they both get weird. A mini fight happens before HIVE and Darhk shoot the place up. Damian steps to Oliver and says he has to pay for saying no to him. Darhk throws Oliver with some of his mumbo jumbo mystical magic and orders his men to take Dig, Thea and Felicity. Is it bad that I’m kind of digging Darhk? I almost want him to win…
Momma Smoak informs Oliver who is gone. Oliver, well Arrow goes on a rampage to find Damian. He takes out countless HIVE ghosts and nothing. Laurel gives him a, stop blaming yourself, speech, but he leaves to find more ghosts. Laurel confronts Papa Lance about him working for Darhk. He explains that it was only for a while, and now he is a mole. Malcolm comes to the cave to help. Oliver says that he is going to trade himself for the hostages.
Damian and Oliver have a chat about what the next step is. Darhk is still holding the upper hand, and he might always. Darhk takes Oli to his “Lair” and talks some bad guy, evil mastermind type stuff, before giving him a demonstration. Man I love Damian’s comedy. Laurel suits up and readies for the rescue. She gives papa a few lines about him staying away. I’m kind of excited that Laurel gets to save the day. I just hope the writers don’t mess it up. Oli and Felicity get a moment to “say goodbye”. Felicity has a few, I’m a big girl, I can help myself” lines and then all is fine.
Damian shows Oli a tank containing Thea and Dig, and then he throws Felicity in. He basically tells Oliver that he is going to kill them all. Laurel better hurry up and get there. Will any of them make it out alive?
Everyone tries to find a way out, but no avail. Just when all looks lost, Black Canary and Green Arrow show up and save them all. Darhk and Arrow go at it again, and Oli, well Malcolm almost gets him. Darhk does his magic and begins to choke out green arrow. Thea, Dig and Felicity get trapped but Laurel and Lance help out. While this is going on Oli and Green Arrow take on Darhk. They finally get him and he mumbles something and a bomb goes off. What a great sequence of events.
Back at the Arrow cave, the team talks that they wonder what happened to Darhk. Dig tries to talk to Andy again. Some brotherly love happens and Dig heads out. Darhk’s companions get nervous, but he reassures them that everything is going well, by showing them his “corn field”?
Oliver and company go to his, set up, () and after a few words on Star city, he gets down on one knee and proposes to Felicity. Just when we think all is good, Oliver and Felicity’s limo gets stopped and a bunch of HIVE members shoot up the car. He eventually gets away by sneaking into the front seat. While this is going on Darhk, and family, light up their tree. Oliver rushes into the back of the car to find a near dead Felicity.
The preview shows Felicity going to the hospital and the secret grave again. Will it be hers?
Super fantastic fall finale, but I will try to keep my hopes low. I want the grave to be Felicity’s, not because I don’t like her, but because I don’t like who the character is now.
