The Agents of SHIELD are welcoming back a familiar face as Cobie Smulders will reprise her role as Agent Maria Hill for the upcoming season ending arc on the ABC series…
As witnessed in last night’s episode of Agents of SHIELD, the war from the inside between the loyal agents and the sleeper cell of HYDRA is going full steam ahead, and to help aid in the battle a friendly face is coming back into the fold.
Cobie Smulders — who plays Agent Maria Hill — will team back up with the Agents of SHIELD after a brief appearance in ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’. Smulders appeared in the series debut of the show, and now she will come back for the episode airing Tuesday, April 29 as well as a future episode in May leading to the season finale.
For those of you that love SPOILERS — the last we saw of Agent Hill, she was applying for a job at Stark Industries after the fallout from HYDRA’s takeover of SHIELD so it will be interesting to see her role in the final few episodes of this season.
Agents of SHIELD returns for a new episode next Tuesday night at a special start time 9pm ET/PT.
