The good folks at Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD have promised crossovers from the movie world to the TV world and now we have another confirmed sighting…
Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD freshman season has been an up and down ride with most television watchers as well as critics. One of the major teases when the show started was the crossover appeal between the new TV world created on the ABC series along with upcoming Marvel movies like Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
Thus far the crossovers have been slim and the ones that were referenced in the show have been kind of lame, but Marvel is upping the ante to finally have a character appear from a recent Marvel film.
Sif — the goddess of war from the Thor films played by actress Jaimie Alexander — will appear in an upcoming episode of Agents of SHIELD according to ABC President Paul Lee, who made the announcement during the Television Critics Association meetings on Friday.
Alexander has played the part of Sif in both Thor movies and now she will make at least a brief appearance in an upcoming episode of Agents of SHIELD. Stay tuned for more details on her appearance as it comes closer.
