Good news for fans of Defiance and Dominion because both of them will be back in the summer of 2015 on SyFy.
The network announced on Thursday that both series were given 13-episode orders for new seasons that will begin production early next year. For Defiance this will mark the third season for the alien invasion drama starring Grant Bowler and Julie Benz. The show averaged 2.7 million viewers on Thursday night this past season in their sophomore effort.
As for Dominion, the new series will get picked up for a second year after averaging almost identical ratings to Defiance. The show was also extremely popular on social networks like Twitter, where the fan base for the series flocked week to week to discuss the show.
Dominion will also return in 2015 alongside Defiance.
