HBO has announced the panels and appearances for San Diego Comic Con with ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Outcast’ headlining….
San Diego Comic Con is always a hub for some of the biggest movies and television shows to strut their stuff in front of nerd loving audience and this year HBO is bringing one of the most popular series on TV as well as a highly anticipated new series from the creator of ‘The Walking Dead’.
First up is ‘Game of Thrones’, which makes a yearly appearance at the popular convention with cast and crew on stage and answering questions from the fans.
Because of the timing for how ‘Game of Thrones’ is shot, season 6 has not officially started production yet so they won’t show any new footage, but there will surely be teasers for what’s ahead when the show returns in 2016.
‘Game of Thrones’ will take over Hall H on Friday, July 10 at 2:30pm with Seth Meyers acting as moderator.
The cast expected to appear include: Alfie Allen (Theon/Reek), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), Liam Cunningham (Ser Davos Seaworth), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), Conleth Hill (Varys), Hannah Murray (Gilly), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Carice van Houten (Melisandre) and Maisie Williams (Arya Stark).
It will be the first year for many of the cast members to appear at San Diego Comic Con.
In addition to ‘Game of Thrones’, HBO and Cinemax will also present ‘Outcast’ for the first time from Robert Kirkman, who is also the creator of ‘The Walking Dead’.
The ‘Outcast’ panel will take place on Saturday, July 11 at 3pm in Room 6DE with ‘Silicon Valley’ star Kumail Nanjiani moderating.
The cast and crew expected to appear include: Creators and executive producers Robert Kirkman and Chris Black, cast members Patrick Fugit (Kyle Barnes), Philip Glenister (Reverend Anderson) and Wrenn Schmidt (Megan Holter), and two surprise special guest panelists.
