‘House of Cards’ and ‘The Strain’ star Corey Stoll has been added to the cast of ‘Homeland’ season 4 along with veteran actress Laila Robins…
The new season of ‘Homeland’ is expected to turn the show on its head following the death last season of Nicholas Brody, played by Damien Lewis. The series will pick up the pieces with Claire Danes traveling overseas to work out of a CIA field office, and the new cast of characters will include a well known name from ‘House of Cards’.
Corey Stoll — who received rave reviews for his portrayal of troubled congressman Peter Russo on season one of the Netflix series ‘House of Cards’ will be added as a recurring character in the new season of ‘Homeland’ on Showtime. Stoll will play Sandy Bachman, a CIA chief in the office in Pakistan where Danes’ character relocates this season.
Laila Robbins, who has had parts in series such as ‘The Sopranos’ and ‘In Treatment’, will also join the cast playing series regular Martha Boyd, a U.S. ambassador to Pakistan.
Season 4 of ‘Homeland’ is expected to debut this fall on Showtime with a premiere date most likely in September.
