Suraj Sharma burst onto the Hollywood film scene with his role in the Ang Lee film ‘Life of Pi’ and now he’ll join the cast of the popular Showtime series ‘Homeland’ for a recurring role in season 4.
Sharma will play Aayan Ibrahim — a Pakistani medical student who finds himself meeting Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) while she’s on her new CIA assignment in the Middle East.
Sharma debuted in the film ‘Life of Pi’ but since then he went onto star in the Disney feature ‘Million Dollar Arm’ as well.
‘Homeland’ season 4 is expected to debut on Showtime this fall.
