Jai Courtney will have some mighty big shoes to fill as he will play the role of Kyle Reese in the upcoming Terminator reboot titled ‘Genesis’. He will take over the role originally played by Michael Biehn in the classic Terminator movie starring opposite Linda Hamilton.
This time around the role of Sarah Connor will be played by ‘Game of Thrones‘ actress Emilia Clarke, who was announced as the star of the new franchise late last year.
Courtney joins the cast after starring in the Starz series Spartacus as well as A Good Day to Die Hard, where he joined Bruce Willis in a leading role.
Thew new Terminator film is expected to be released in 2015 and will also star original cast member Arnold Schwarzenegger as well as Jason Clarke, who will portray John Connor in the upcoming movie.
