Kenny Johnson will be back at ‘Bates Motel’ for season 3 as Norma’s estranged brother but this time he’s going to stick around…
Former ‘Shield’ and ‘Sons of Anarchy’ actor Kenny Johnson made quite an impact in his brief appearance on ‘Bates Motel’ when it was revealed his character Caleb was not only Norma’s estranged brother, but he was also Dylan’s father. As the story goes, Caleb had sex with his sister Norma and the result was Dylan, but both siblings have different versions of how they ended up in bed together.
While Caleb only appeared in two episodes, the ripple effect of the news that came along with his appearance sent waves into everybody’s life last season and so now he’s set to return in a much bigger role in season 3.
Johnson will sign on as a series regular for season 3, which will begin filming later this year before debuting on A&E next year.
Also announced on Friday, Nicola Peltz, who portrayed wayward teen Bradley, will also return next season in a recurring role as well.
