The star of Marvel’s Luke Cage revealed when the next Netflix series will land…
After you finish binge watching Daredevil season 2 after the show debuts on March 18, get ready for Marvel’s Luke Cage coming to you at the end of the summer.
Mike Colter — who plays the “Hero for Hire” — revealed the date in an interview while on the red carpet for the Daredevil season 2 premiere.

“I’ll just say this — it’s going to be action packed from the beginning to the very end, trust me. Daredevil premieres March 18 and I will see the fans on September 30.”
Luke Cage will feature Colter in the lead role after the character first debuted as part of Jessica Jones season one.
The new season will feature several new additions to the Marvel family including Alfre Woodard as Mariah Dillard, Theo Rossi as Alvarez, as well as Rosario Dawson, who reprises her role as nurse Claire Temple — the only character to bridge all three Marvel TV series on Netflix thus far.
There are no exact details on the story or plot for Luke Cage but there’s a better than average shot that the first footage or even the full pilot will debut this summer at San Diego Comic Con in July.
