As the third season of the ABC fantasy show Once Upon a Time draws near, a pivotal role has been cast as Rose McIver will play Tinkerbell in multiple upcoming episodes.
The news was first reported by EW.com.
The 24-year old McIver hails from New Zealand and has been seen in films like The Lovely Bones as well as the upcoming Showtime series Masters of Sex.
Season 3 of Once Upon a Time will feature the Tinkerbell character in a major role with a connection to another character that will be a surprise to many. The show will spend much of its time this year exploring the fantasy world of Neverland.
Another major role is still yet to be cast as Once Upon a Time looks to add Ariel, The Little Mermaid, to the show as well this year.
