The Howling. American Werewolf in London. Silver Bullet. Those are just a few of the iconic werewolf movies that are considered the best in film history but writer and director Jim Cummings decided to take his own stab at the genre after receiving rave reviews for his film “Thunder Road” where he played a police officer in personal peril following a divorce and the death of his mother.
This time around Cummings is once again strapping on a badge while investigating a series of brutal murders in a small Utah town that has everybody on edge and the locals are convinced that a supernatural force must be at work.
Of course, Sheriff’s deputy John Marshall just doesn’t buy it but he’s teetering on the brink between trying to battle his own alcoholism, his father’s failing health and a temper that takes him from calm to rage in about 0.2 seconds.
