The Sony Playstation Network is making a bigger investment in original programming with a commitment now in place to give ‘Powers’ a second season.
The show based on the Brian Michael Bendis’ comic book about a pair of detectives charged in the ‘powers’ division of the police force as they lead investigations into crimes involving ‘enhanced’ people in a world where superpowered folks are commonplace.
The show stars Sharito Copley in the title role with Eddie Izzard, Susan Heyward and Michelle Forbes also on board for the series.
‘Powers’ is available exclusively on the Sony Playstation network although chances are there will be a DVD and Blu-Ray release of the first season at some point later this year.
