The upcoming American remake of popular French horror series ‘The Returned’ has cast the other lead role opposite Mark Pellegrino for the upcoming show led by ‘Bates Motel’ executive producer Carlton Cuse.
Veteran actor Jeremy Sisto, who has starred in series such as ‘Suburgatory’ as well as ‘Law and Order’ will play Peter — a mysterious psychologist who runs a support group in town for those that lost loved ones on a bus accident years earlier.
The highly anticipated series airing on A&E is a remake of the French title of the same name where a small town in France is rocked when dead people start showing up all over town, some of them decades after they died as they look to resume their previous lives as if nothing ever happened to them. The show was a hit in France and eventually aired in the United States via the Sundance Channel.
‘The Returned’ on A&E will star Mark Pellegrino as well as Sisto in the two featured leads with more casting announcements expected in the coming weeks.
