Sometimes it’s the little things that matter most like when Sarah Michelle Gellar drops in a subtle Buffy the Vampire Slayer reference in her new show The Crazy Ones…
The fall slate of TV shows are up and running and there are a few stinkers (Lucky 7 and We are Men already got canned after two episodes) and others have been fantastic. Leading the list of the great shows is the new comedy from CBS starring Robin Williams and Sarah Michelle Gellar called The Crazy Ones.
Now the show isn’t nerdy or comic book related in any way, but Sarah Michelle Gellar being involved automatically should interest anyone that’s ever watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer (and my God she doesn’t look like she’s aged a day since the last time she put in stake in a vampire). For those curious, the show is hilarious and highly recommended to check out.
So it’s with great pleasure that at the end of the latest episode of The Crazy Ones titled ‘Bad Dad’, Gellar drops in a nice reference to her former (and most famous) role to date.
We may never see Gellar back in front of a lens holding a wooden stake reading words and being directed by Joss Whedon, so it’s these little moments that we learned to cherish…
