Popular slasher film turned TV series ‘Scream’ has been a critical and commercial success for MTV and now the horror series has officially been picked up for season 2 at the network.
Based on the 1996 film of the same name by Kevin Williamson, ‘Scream’ rejuvenated the once thriving franchise for a small screen adaptation that’s been very well received since debuting several weeks ago.
The first season is still ongoing, but MTV has already committed to a second season that will debut in 2016.
‘Scream’ airs on Tuesday nights at 10pm ET on MTV
