In a late bit of casting news as Sleepy Hollow is already well into its first season on FOX, the new hit drama has added veteran actor Victor Garber, where he will play Ichabod Crane’s father in at least one episode.
The news was first reported by TVLine.com.
Garber is a veteran actor who has been in dozens of TV and film roles, most notably playing Jack Bristow in the series ‘Alias‘ as well as recent roles in films such as Argo where he played Canadian ambassador Ken Taylor.
While there are no details as to what kind of scenes Garber will have, he will likely appear in a flashback sequence as so much of the show has taken place there as Ichabod and Abbie search for the clues to stop the Headless Horseman from completing his mission to unmake the world.
