‘The Strain’ season 2 will debut on Sunday, July 12 but ahead of the first episode of the sophomore year for the breakout FX series, we’ve got an inside look at the battle ahead for Dr. Ephraim Goodweather and his friends.
Following their failed attempt to kill The Master last season, Ephraim along with Abraham Setrakian and the rest of the vampire hunters are trying to slow down the spread of the creatures across New York City, but they are falling behind as the undead bloodsuckers begin to take over.
In this season 2 preview we find that Dr. Goodweather has decided to take a medical approach at defeating the vampires by trying to destroy them with a virus.
There’s also new players joining the fight this season as the ancient vampires and their team of hunters are on the prowl looking to stop The Master.
