The Walking Dead has cast a former Twilight actress to fill the role of Rosita Espinosa for season 4 of the hit AMC show….
Another favorite from The Walking Dead comic books will be coming to live during season 4 of the television show with a Twilight alum being added to the cast.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christian Serratos has been cast in the role of Rosita Espinosa, a character known from the comic books who first appeared in issue No. 53 of the series.
Serratos is veteran actress most well known for her role as Angela in the Twilight movie series.
She will join the cast of The Walking Dead in season 4 as a recurring cast member with the possibility of being added to a full time cast member potentially in season 5.
Rosita’s character in the comic books meets Rick and his group while still at Herschel’s farm before they leave, so obviously her entrance to the storyline will be different in the TV version.
Another interesting piece to this puzzle is Rosita is traveling with another character named Abraham, who becomes a vital part of The Walking Dead storyline in the comics. Whether or not Abraham will appear in the show yet or not remains to be seen.
Season 4 of The Walking Dead picks up on AMC on Sunday night, October 13.
