Wes Bentley will join the cast of ‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’ for the upcoming season expected to debut in October on FX.
Bentley will play Eddie, ‘a dark tormentor from Kathy Bates’ past hell-bent on revenge’ and he will appear in at least two episodes currently slated for the two-part Halloween special airing on October 21 and 28.
Bentley is best known for his role in the Oscar winning film ‘American Beauty’ where he starred opposite Kevin Spacey and Mena Suvari. Bentley has also appeared in ‘The Hunger Games’ and an upcoming role in ‘Interstellar’ from director Christopher Nolan.
The new season of ‘American Horror Story’ takes place in 1952 as one of the last traveling carnivals led by Jessica Lange takes center stage as the backdrop for the fright filled show.
