The newest name to join the cast of HBO’s ambitious series ‘Westworld’ is veteran actor Ed Harris, who will be playing the key villain in the upcoming season.
Harris will portray ‘The Man in Black’ — described as a “distillation of pure villainy into one man”.
The show focuses on a theme park with robots so realistic they can interact with guests as they live out fantasies and role play, but when something goes haywire and the mechanical wonders turn against their human counterparts all hell breaks loose.
The new show based on the original film from author Michael Crichton also stars Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood and James Marsden.
