The Xbox One has sold a million units already (as expected) and matched the totals announced by the release of the Playstation 4 last week….

The launch of the Xbox One this week has resulted in huge sales (as expected) and the company announced on Friday that worldwide tallies have reached 1 million units sold in the first 24 hours worldwide.
This matches the totals sold last week from the release of the Sony Playstation 4, which also sold 1 million units in 24 hours.
The one bit of additional news from this release is the fact that the Xbox One did outsell the original release of the Xbox 360, making it the most popular release from Microsoft to date.
