‘Stranger Things’ Season 3: New Scene Released Pays Homage to ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ (VIDEO)

A new scene from the debut episode of ‘Stranger Things’ season 3 has just been released with an homage to the classic film ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’…

It’s impossible to hear the song ‘Moving in Stereo’ by The Cars without conjuring images of a classic scene from the 1982 film ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ when Judge Reinhold’s character Brad Hamilton watches Phoebe Cates’ character Linda get out of the pool.

Now ‘Stranger Things’ has carried over an homage of sorts in a new scene just released ahead of season 3, which drops on Netflix on July 4.

The scene takes place during the summertime in Hawkins, Indiana at the pool where all the local mothers have lined up to look their absolute best while waiting for the arrival of the new bodyguard in town — Billy Hargrove.

Last season saw a chance encounter between Billy and Mrs. Wheeler and it appears that flirtation is still carrying on strong into the new season as well.
