M. Night Shyamalan is creating his own crossover universe with a sequel combining ‘Unbreakable’ and ‘Split’….
Get ready for David Dunn vs. Kevin Wendell Crumb.
On Wednesday, writer and director M. Night Shyamalan announced plans to release ‘Glass’ — a sequel to his 2000 film ‘Unbreakable’ along with his 2016 film ‘Split’ with stars from both franchises returning.
My new film is the sequel to #Unbreakable AND #Split. It was always my dream to have both films collide in this third film.

The set up for the movie came in the final moments of ‘Split’ when Bruce Willis made a surprise appearance as his character from ‘Unbreakable’, which prompted fans to wonder if a sequel crossing over the two films was coming soon.
Now it’s been confirmed that Willis will return as David Dunn — the unbreakable security guard who becomes a hero over the course of the first film — as well as his nemesis played by Samuel L. Jackson, who will come back to play Elijah Prince aka Mr. Glass.
James McAvoy will return as the multi-personality serial killer Kevin Wendell Crumb as well as Anya Taylor-Joy, who will reprise her role as Casey Cooke from ‘Split’.
‘Glass’ is due out on January 18, 2019.
