On the latest episode of ‘Riverdale’, Archie, Veronica and Betty team up to cover the Tears for Fears track ‘Mad World’…
On ‘Riverdale’ this week, Archie faces turmoil after he drops the big four letter word ‘love’ on Veronica and she doesn’t reciprocate, which eventually leads to them splitting up by the end of the episode.
Meanwhile, Betty is determined to stay close to Jughead as he gets in deeper and deeper with the Southside Serpents but the only way she’s going to be welcomed as part of the club is to go through a rite of passage known as the serpent’s dance.
That all culminates in a performance at the Whyte Wyrm this week as Archie and Veronica cover the track “Mad World” — originally by Tears for Fears but made famous by this version from Gary Jules in the film ‘Donnie Darko.
As pressure builds on Veronica, she bolts from the stage, which leaves an opening for Betty to take over to finish the song while giving a sultry performance in lingerie much to the shock of her boyfriend and her mother, who just happened to be in the audience as well.
