‘Ozark’ is based around money manager and money launderer Marty Byrde, who ends up at odds with the Mexican cartel after his partner is discovered stealing from them. That forces Marty to establish a new life for himself and his family in the Ozarks of Missouri where he attempts to set up a new and more lucrative way to launder money for the cartel so he can stay in their good graces.
‘Ozark’ season 2 saw Marty continue to build and expand his empire in the Ozarks by working to open a riverboat casino where he could launder even more money for the Mexican cartel. Unfortunately by the end of the season, Marty managed to double cross the mafia, which will undoubtedly land him in even more hot water when the show returns for season 3.
There’s no exact debut date yet for ‘Ozark’ season 3 but it’s expected production will pick up later this year or early 2019 with a debut date sometime in 2019 most likely on Netflix.
