There are two more promos that just debuted ahead of the final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ that focus on survival and banding together to defeat a common enemy…
“We must fight together now — or die”
Those ominous words of warning come from the Hand of the Queen Tyrion Lannister in what appears to be a meeting at Winterfell after Daenerys and her army arrive in the North along with Jon Snow to prepare for the coming battle against the Army of the Dead.
That’s how the latest promo for ‘Game of Thrones’ season 8 — the final season — opens after HBO released two new commercials promoting the final six episodes of the series.
While there’s not a ton of new footage in either video, you can catch a couple of glimpses including Tyrion’s speech at Winterfell.
HBO has been very cautious not to reveal too much ahead of the show’s return and the first trailer for the final season didn’t launch until just recently. Obviously, ‘Game of Thrones’ is the most watched series in HBO history to it stands to reason that the majority of fans are going to come out in droves to watch this final season no matter how much or how little is revealed before the show returns on April 14.
That said, the two new promos continue to hype up the final hours of ‘Game of Thrones’ so take a look at both of them and prepare for the last season to debut on Sunday night, April 14 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
