Ashley Scott is the latest cast member joining the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover as she reprises her role from ‘Birds of Prey’….
Ashley Scott will reprise her role as the Huntress from the short-lived ‘Birds of Prey’ series for the upcoming Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover taking place across the Arrow-verse on the CW.
Scott played Helena Kyle aka the Huntress, who teamed up with Barbara Gordon to protect Gotham after Batman abandoned his post as the vigilante savior to the city. In the TV series, Scott was daughter to Bruce Wayne and Selena Kyle, which will potentially provide an interesting twist for the upcoming crossover. Kevin Conroy, who voiced Batman throughout numerous animated series and movies, is playing an older Bruce Wayne from the future but it’s unclear if he’ll have any connection to Scott’s character in the crossover.
‘Birds of Prey’ only lasted for one season before it was cancelled but the CW is obviously doing everything possible to bring back as many past characters from the shared universe for the massive crossover that kicks off in December.
‘Smallville’ stars Tom Welling and Erica Durance are also returning while Brandon Routh will be pulling double duty playing Ray Palmer/The Atom from ‘Legends of Tomorrow’ while also playing the Man of Steel after originally portraying the character in ‘Superman Returns’. Burt Ward is also making a cameo appearance after he played Dick Grayson/Robin opposite the late Adam West in the 1960’s ‘Batman’ TV series.
The Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover will start on Sunday night, December 8 during ‘Supergirl’ and the continuing on ‘Batwoman’ and ‘The Flash’ on Monday, Dec. 9 and Tuesday, Dec. 10 respectively. The crossover will wrap up on January 14, 2020 with back-to-back episodes of ‘Arrow’ and ‘Legends of Tomorrow’.
