Ahead of “The Batman” landing in theaters, director Matt Reeves has now revealed a first look at the new Batmobile that will be driven by Robert Pattinson…
It’s almost become tradition to tease Batman’s suit and car ahead of a big movie release — so that’s exactly what director Matt Reeves did on Wednesday.
Ahead of “The Batman” landing in theaters on June 25, 2021, Reeves took to Twitter to share the first photos of thee new Batmobile, which will be driven by Robert Pattinson as he takes over the role as the Dark Knight for the upcoming solo film from DC and Warner Bros. Director Zack Snyder did a similar tease when he was creating films also starring Batman except his Caped Crusader was played by Ben Affleck.

Judging by the photos released by Reeves, his version of the Batmobile is a souped up muscle car rather than purely a high-tech piece of machinery that has been seen in films directed by Snyder as well as Christopher Nolan during his “Dark Knight Trilogy.”
Reeves previously released a first look at Pattinson dressed in the new Batman suit a couple of weeks ago as production on the movie got underway.
“The Batman” will reportedly take place during an early part of Batman’s career as a crimefighter with the focus staying more grounded on his detective skills than an over the top big budget effects driven movie.
Pattinson takes over the role as Batman/Bruce Wayne with Zoe Kravitz starring as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, Paul Dano as The Riddler, and Andy Serkis playing Alfred Pennyworth.
