NBC has given “Manifest” a season 3 renewal after the show closed out season 2 back in April…
The passengers of Flight 828 will continue to look for answers after NBC renewed “Manifest” for season 3 on Monday.
The sci-fi series is based around a mysterious flight that disappears with the crew and passengers presumed dead only to reappear out of nowhere, landing safely in New York as if nothing ever happened. While the passengers have only experienced a regular flight, they’ve actually been gone for five years.
“Manifest” has returned solid ratings for NBC but remained on the bubble when it came to a season 3 renewal.
Now the series starring Josh Dallas, Melissa Roxburgh and J. R. Ramirez will return for season 3 on NBC. There’s no date yet for the show’s return due to the coronavirus pandemic shutting down productions but with filming expected to begin again soon, “Manifest” will likely stay on course for a 2021 debut.
