“NOS4A2” will not return to AMC.
The horror series based on the book of the same name by author Joe Hill has officially been cancelled by the network after running for two seasons. “NOS4A2” starred Zachary Quinto as Charlie Manx — a vampire, who fed off the souls of children to keep him alive while trapping all of them in a mystical place called Christmasland. Charlie met his match in a young girl named Vic McQueen, who was able to track him with a special ability of her own as she sought to bring an end to his decades long reign of terror.
“NOS4A2” showrunner Jami O’Brien confirmed the news via Twitter on Monday.
Well friends, I heard from AMC last week. We won’t be making a 3rd season of #NOS4A2 . It’s a bummer, but I’m grateful we were at least able to finish adapting the storyline from Joe Hill’s terrific novel… 1/4

Originally, “NOS4A2” was teased as a limited series based on the original book but the show was ultimately renewed for a second season after the first season debuted. Now there will not be a third installment after AMC pulling the plug on the series.
