The third “Spider-Man” movie starring Tom Holland finally has an official title.

After numerous teases over the past couple of days, the primary cast from the film including Holland and Zendaya revealed the upcoming film will be titled “Spider-Man: No Way Home.”

The film will be released in theaters on Dec. 17.

Of course that new title matches the current “home” theme for these latest “Spider-Man” movies after the first was titled “Homecoming” with the sequel called “Far From Home.”

The third film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has numerous possible hints about the story coming up in the film directed by Jon Watts that is also expected to feature Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.

The title could reference the bonus scene from “Spider-Man: Far From Home” where Mysterio’s last message sent out to the world prior to his death was revealing Spidey’s true identity as Peter Parker. That kind of information would certainly put anyone and everyone close to Peter in immediate danger, which would obviously stop him from going home again.

There’s also the long standing belief that the third “Spider-Man” film will deal with the addition of the Marvel multiverse after casting news was revealed that both Alfred Molina and Jamie Foxx would be appearing in the upcoming movie while reprising their past roles from other movies in the “Spider-Man” universe.

Molina portrayed Dr. Octopus opposite Tobey Maguire in “Spider-Man 2” back in 2004 while Foxx portrayed Electro in “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” as he went up against Andrew Garfield in the lead role in that movie that dropped in 2014.

There have also been rumors that both Maguire and Garfield will return for cameo appearance in “No Way Home” but nothing has been confirmed in that regard just yet.

Still, the Marvel multiverse is definitely coming sooner or later but it’s not clear if “Spider-Man: No Way Home” will help introduce that theory following the events in ongoing TV series such as “WandaVision” or films that are expected to be released before the new “Spider-Man” film including “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” which is due out on July 9.

For now let the speculation continue as we await the arrival of “Spider-Man: No Way Home” on Dec. 17.
