The first full length trailer to the upcoming “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” sequel has arrived and Rewind of the Living Dead is reacting to the new footage.
The film written by Chris Thomas Devlin based on a story from Fede Alvarez (“Evil Dead,” “Don’t Breathe”) and Rodo Sayagues picks up as a direct sequel to the original “Texas Chain Saw Massacre” from Tobe Hooper in 1974.
Here’s the synopsis for the movie from Netflix:
“After nearly 50 years of hiding, Leatherface returns to terrorize a group of idealistic young friends who accidentally disrupt his carefully shielded world in a remote Texas town.”
The trailer also features the return of Sally Hardesty — the woman who was captured but later escaped the murderous Sawyer family in the original film. Judging by the trailer, Sally has been biding her time until Leatherface and the Sawyer clan resurfaced so she could have her revenge.
Rewind of the Living Dead will also react to the trailer, which you can listen to below, while going step by step through the entire video and giving their thoughts on what to expect from this latest “Texas Chainsaw Massacre” sequel.
