The first look at Jordan Peele’s latest horror film titled “Nope” dropped on Sunday was the writer and director returns for his first movie since “Us”…
“What’s a bad miracle?”
That’s a question asked by Daniel Kaluuya’s character in the first trailer for Jordan Peele’s latest horror film titled “Nope,” which is due out on July 22.
Peele has been teasing this film for quite some time after dropping a mysterious poster along with the title of the film before lead actors Kaluuya and Keke Palmer were announced for the project. Of course, Peele previously worked with Kaluuya on the Oscar award winning film “Get Out.”
Now they will team together again for “Nope” with the trailer not really revealing much about what’s actually happening in this film other than the opening that features Palmer and Kaluuya filming a commercial for their business where they train horses for work in Hollywood.
By all accounts it would appear that “Nope” is centered around some sort of alien invasion but again even that’s just a guess because Peele loves to maintain the mystery ahead of his films landing in theaters.
So in other words there’s not much to tell with this trailer but it’s visually striking and with Peele writing and directing, it’s easy to understand why audiences will flock to the theater to see “Nope” when it opens.
For now take a look at the trailer for “Nope” and see if you can figure out what Peele has in store with the movie slated to arrive in theaters on July 22.
