The first teaser for the final episodes of “Ozark” has been released with the show returning for one last run in April on Netflix…
There won’t be a long wait to see the final seven episodes of “Ozark” with the show set to return on April 29 on Netflix.
The announcement was made this week along with a small teaser for the second half of the fourth and final season of the Emmy award winning show.
The teaser features Emmy winner Julia Garner behind the wheel of a car as her character Ruth Langmore laments about the horrific atrocities she’s witnessed from the time she was just a child. That level of misery hasn’t escaped her after becoming an adult, especially following the tragedy that happened in the “Ozark” finale for the first half of episodes that dropped earlier this year.
Spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen the first half of “Ozark” season 4.
In the finale before the first half came to an end, Javi Elizondro — the volatile new leader of the Navarro cartel — finally took over his uncle’s business and then lashed out at Darlene Snell, who continued to sell heroin in his territory despite multiple warnings to stop. After striking a deal with the U.S. government to essentially do dirty work for them as the head of the cartel, Javi paid a visit to Darlene’s farm and he executed her and Wyatt Langmore without provocation.
Sadly, Ruth discovered the bodies and she was immediately grief stricken and understandable enraged after finding her cousin shot dead. Now she’s on a mission of vengeance with plans to ride the world of Javi once and for all.
Take a look at the new teaser and get ready for the final seven episodes of “Ozark” coming in April on Netflix.
