A new “Succession” season 4 trailer has arrived along with a March debut date for the critically acclaimed series to return on HBO…
The long wait for “Succession” season 4 is nearly over with the show set to return to HBO on Sunday night, March 26 and 9 p.m. ET.
Along with the debut date, a new trailer for the upcoming season was already released with the Roy children — at least Kendall, Shiv and Roman — preparing to embark on their own endeavor after their father Logan betrayed all of them by selling his company to an ambitious tech developer.
Here’s the synopsis for “Succession” season 4 from HBO:
“The sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson (Alexander Skarsgård) moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete. A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.”
While “Succession” season 3 largely centered around Kendall’s war against his father, he’s no longer alone as the fourth season begins after he reunited with two of his siblings, although all of them were upended after learning that Logan decided to sell his company.
The Roy children were ultimately betrayed by none other than Shiv’s husband Tom, who is now trying to set himself up for a future when he may no longer be married into the family.
