Kurt Sutter, the creator of Sons of Anarchy, will be penning a book that’s set to be released the day after his show reaches its finale in 2014.
Sutter released the news via Twitter on Wednesday that the fictional manuscript featured in the show — The Life and Death of Sam Crow: How the Sons of Anarchy Lost Their Way — would see a real book come to life after the show ends next year.

The manuscript itself, at least in small parts, was a major feature of the series during the first two seasons after Jax discovered the book and his father’s views on the club and where they were headed. Shortly after the time he wrote the manuscript, John Teller died when his motorcycle crashed and a truck hit him.
The book was eventually dug up by Jax, who read the words and actually tried to burn it at one point, but it was eventually stolen by his mother Gemma. He then had another one given to him by Piney. Jax eventually passed on the book to both Tara and Opie as he tried to lead the Sons down a new path away from gun running and towards a more legitimate future.
Now it appears the book will come to fruition in real life with Sutter penning John Teller’s words.
The book’s release will happen after the final episode of Sons of Anarchy, which airs on FX starting in the fall of 2014.
