He’s known as one of the most feared mutants of all time but now Magneto will become the ultimate anti-hero in his new series…
The new series ‘Magneto’ will debut from Marvel comics this March from writer Cullen Bunn and artist Gabriel Hernandez Walta focusing on the master of magnetism as he fiercely protects his fellow mutants in a noir/thriller comic.
“I think Magneto is definitely an anti-hero,” Bunn said in an interview with Marvel.com. “He’s fighting for the right thing, but his methods are far too extreme. He’s not above breaking the law, stretching the limits of what is moral and putting evil to work for good.”
In the age of the anti-hero, who better to go after those that would harm mutants than one of the most powerful X-Men of all time. Recently, Magneto has been teaming up with Cyclops’ team of rogue X-Men, but now the man also known as Erik Lehnsherr will strike out on his own crusade.
