“A Quiet Place II” lands in theaters on March 20 but the first full length trailer has arrived.
Set in the aftermath of the first film with John Krasinski returning to direct the sequel, the new film sees Emily Blunt lead the Abbott family away from their farmhouse and out into a new world ravaged by sound seeking aliens.
It doesn’t take her long to figure out that the greatest threats aren’t always the aliens but rather the human beings left to survive by any means necessary in the wake of their arrival. Here’s the official synopsis from Paramount:
“Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.”
Just like the first film, Krasinski also wrote the script to the sequel, which will apparently also explore the arrival of these deadly creatures as the world falls into chaos where a single sound can get you killed.
